How to Edit a YouTube Video

One of the most common questions asked by many people who are interested in learning how to edit a YouTube video is how to cut off or edit out the beginning and the end of the video. These two areas that make up the beginning and the end of the video are usually the areas that most people watch the video and comment on. People want to hear what others have to say and they want to be able to discuss the topic in an organized fashion so that they can come up with their own ideas on the same topic. In order to do this, it is important to know how to edit a YouTube video.

To edit a YouTube video, one needs to open the YouTube website. After doing this, the viewer will see a series of four buttons at the top of the website. The first three buttons are those of the help box. The help box is where the viewer is shown how to get to the other parts of the website. One button opens the settings panel. The other two buttons will only work if the user has previously used a different browser and is not able to use the ones that are available for the user to use.

After clicking on the first three buttons, the viewer will find themselves viewing the video section on the left hand side of the YouTube website. This is where the viewer will need to start if they want to know how to edit a YouTube video. On the left hand side, one will see a small microphone icon next to the frame size icon. This icon is located under the video player to the right of the YouTube logo. When the viewer clicks on this icon, they will be able to tell if the video is being played on a computer or on a portable device such as a digital video recorder. They will also be able to tell if the video is in a looping mode or if it is still being viewed and can be watched in its original time. If the video is being viewed on a computer, the viewer will be able to start playing it back using the mouse wheel on the keyboard.
